The British School's pre-school facility building :
The British International School is located on Gauselbakken 107, Gausel (off the R44 between Forus and Hinna). The school has two buildings, a lower and an upper school building.
Parking is in the carpark between the 2 school buildings.
The location of the British School's pre-school facility (a grey wooden house) is inbetween the upper and lower school buildings. It lies inside a child-proof fence and is on the opposite side of the road from where you are parked. Walk into the playground of the lower school and follow the path on the right leading to the grey wooden house.

The British School Gymnasium:
The British International School is located on Gauselbakken 107, Gausel (off the R44 between Forus and Hinna). The school has two buildings, a lower and an upper school building.
The location of the British School Gymnasium is in the upper building on the ground floor.
Enter the upper building by the main door on ground floor at the front of the building, playground side. You might need to ring the buzzer to be let in if school is in progress. Once inside turn left into the hallway. The gymnasium is at the end of this. The changing room for Lillegym is halfway down the hall, to the right and then the 2nd door left (after the toilets!).

Grannes Grendahuset:
Grannes Grendahuset is located at the bottom of the Grannesbakken. Technically it falls in the Sola commune, but physically it is next to Madlalia. You can either approach it from the uphill side (opposite the UIS university) or from the downhill side (close to the fjord).
From the uphill side: The top entrance of the Grannesbakken is off the Kristine Bonnevies vei, opposite the UIS carpark. Going down the road from there you will find the Grendahus at the bottom of the hill on your left.
From the downhill side: The bottom of the Grannesbakken runs out onto the Madlaveien, the part between the roundabout at the bottom of the Kristine Bonnevies vei and the Hafrsfjord. Turn off here and follw the road towards the hill. Once you have passed through the new housing estate, on your right you will see a street sign Radioveien. There you turn left up the hill and very soon you will find the Grendahus on your right. It is a steep entrance up to the parking area, adjacent to a barnehage. The hall where we practice is up from the parking area, follow the little road through the open gates.
Parking! There is limited parking when you drive up to the Grendahus and during the barnehage hours you need to be lucky to find a space. Above the Grendahus on the same side of the road there is a row of parking spaces opposite the houses. A small path leads you from there down to the hall of the Grendahus. A third option is up even (a little) further from the Grendahus on the opposite side of the road. The road off there is called Granneslia and you will find another small public carpark. Use the same small path down to the Grendahus. If all that fails you can park along the road on the same side as all the other cars (UIS students'!).

Åsta Kongsmorsgate 7, Madla:
When driving with the Hafrsfjord on your left (from Sandnes/Forus/Sola), pass Møllebukta and the 3 swords (same route as if you are driving to the ISS) until you come to a crossroads. Turn right, past the café Surf-In, and up Snorresgate. Drive to the top of the hill (past one turning right, Ragnhildgate) and at the top, keep right into Åsta Kongsmorsgate. No.7 is 250m down on the right; it is painted white and has a row of large boulders as fence.
When driving down Madlamarkveien (either way from Stavanger or from Sandnes), find Madlamark Church (modern, red brick with tower) and at the roundabout, turn downhill into Åsta Kongsmorsgate. Coming from Stavanger, the turn is to the right, coming from E39/Sandnes/Hillevag, the turn is to the left. Follow the road down, past a road to the left (Nygaardsbakken), then after about 250m, come to the white painted house with a row of large boulders.
From the direction of the ISS, head towards the 3 swords until you pass the military school on the left (Madlaleire), on Regimentsveien. When you reach the crossroads (the café Surf-In is opposite you), go straight across and up Snorresgate. Drive to the top of the hill (past one turning right, Ragnhildgate) and at the top, keep right into Åsta Kongsmorsgate.
